Fruity Foundation: Bourjois Healthy Mix...

As it is coming to Summer I have been on the hunt for a good Summer foundation as I think that my MAC Studio Fix Fluid is far too heavy for this time of year, and I saw this in Boots. With its yummy sounding ingredients and a 'Product of the Year' sticker, it seemed like a great choice.

Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation £9.99
First off, I LOVE the packaging of this product, not only does it have a pump, but the product is also pushed up the bottle so you actually know how much product you have left... GENIUS... No more morning nightmares of running out of foundation just when you need it most.

The foundation, amongst other things, contains:
  • Apricot for radiance,
  • Melon for hydration,
  • Apple which acts as an antioxidant,
  • Ginger which gives energy.
The product claims to be Bourjois' 1st radiance-boosting fruit therapy foundation and is meant to give a flawless complexion for up to 16 Hours. It does give a radiant look to the skin and feels super light, like you aren't wearing foundation, yet the coverage is great. Concealing any redness and blemishes well. Whilst I have been using this, the condition of my skin has improved, I don't know whether it is simply because I've stopped using MAC or whether it is the natural ingredients, but something is working well for me. However, on my skin, it definitely does not last 16 Hours.

It is also a very moisturising foundation, smells amazing and applies great however to choose to do it. I've used my fingers, brushes and the Blend Perfection Sponge and it has applied flawlessly with all.

I have never been drawn to the Bourjois' counters and I have no idea why! I always here great things from the likes of @gemsmaquillage and @Lisa_Eldridge, and now I have fallen for this foundation. I think you should all give it a try!

What are your favourite Bourjois products? I really want to try their new mascara and their Blush Pots.

What foundation do you turn to in Summer?

Much Love,
