|BB Cream Eye Roll-On|
If you don't already know what BB Creams are, they are also known as Blemish Balm, Blemish Base or Beblesh Balm and they are a cosmetic item sold mainly in East and Southeast Asia. I first heard of these on YouTube through Beauty Gurus such as MissGlamorazzi. Different BB Creams have different benefits, some have skin whitening or brightening properties, others are anti-acne, some are anti-wrinkle, some are intended to even out skin tone, and yet others to lighten blemish scars. BB creams are sometimes used like a primer under foundation, and if tinted may even replace foundation and some newer ones will have functions of primer, foundation, moisturizer, sun block, pore minimization and skin refining together which can save time and money in make-up.
From what I can make out from other blogs, it is a pretty light reflecting product which is a lot more skin-toned then Asian branded products which have quite a grey undertone. As far as I'm aware these launch in 17 days in the UK (7th August) and I for one am so excited to try them out1! I have almost bought BB Creams from Asia on different occasions, but I like trying out products before I buy them, or at least swatch them. And this has the added bonus of being from a brand that I know and trust.
MAC is also releasing one in their Prep+Prime range with added SPF 35:
What do you think? Will you be trying out either of these?
