This months box is a more of 'back to basics' box after the indulgent full sized product overload of last months box. It states that the products will help you achieve that "easy-going, polished look". I was really excited to see some skin care products and especially some from Ahava and Murad as I've heard great things about both brands.
HairStay Style Boost is a foam-to-liquid product which adds bounce and movement to the hair and is even meant to improve the performance of other styling products. This is such an unusual product as it begins as a foam and transforms into a cool liquid which crackles! It does not feel sticky at all and has a lovely pomegranate scent and I'm really looking forward to trying it out. This is a full sized 200ml product which retails for £11.65 here.
The next product is a body lotion from Ahava. It is packed full of Deadsea minerals, aloe vera and witch hazel to refresh and revitalise tired skin. Its a lovely lotion texture, not too thin and not too think and has a lovely clean scent. I've just tried a small amount on my hand as I've been typing this and it feels so smooth and soft. This is a 40ml sample sized product. The 250ml full sized product retails at £22.00 here.
The Murad Time Release Acne Cleanser was the product I was drawn to first in the box. It contains 0.5% Salicylic Acid which is commonly seen in acne treatments. As someone that suffers from bad skin, I will give anything a go! This has a thick gel like consistency and is meant to eliminate blemishes whilst restoring suppleness for younger looking skin. This is a 30ml sample sized product, the 200ml full sized product retails for £29.00 here.
How cute is Baby Jet for a mascara name?! This is by Daniel Sandler and is specifically designed for use on the bottom, inner and outer lashes with its teeny-tiny little wand, and guarantees that you won't ruin all of your lovely eye make up. I believe this is a full sized product at 4.5ml and it retails for £12.75 here.
Just last night I was moaning about the state of my toe nails and wondering why I can never find nice nail wraps for them. The GlossyBox team were obviously paying attention to my pleas when they threw these little creations into the box. I love the print and think they will look gorgeous! I've had a little browse on their website and they have some stunning designs, a much wider range than some other him street nail wrap brands. These are a full set of nail wraps and they retail for £7.99 here.
I can't wait to begin using all of these lovely goodies! What did you get in your boxes this month?
