Ooh La La: Primark French Nails...

During a little shopping trip with my sister this week, we popped into Primark and saw these lovelies. She is planning on going out tonight and as they were only £1 for 24 nails including glue she thought it daft not to pick them up and give them a go!

They are a really nice pink toned, natural french manicure finish with a printed white tip. There are a good range of sizes in each pack and fit nicely against the cuticle. The nails aren't too long either, making them really easy to apply. The only downside? ... The glue is just plain awful. As soon as she'd finished applying the nails one had come off and when she was trying on some outfits, another came off too. I suppose you can't expect the best of quality for just £1, but if you had your own nail glue, these would be perfect, as the actual nails are really strong.

Here's the finished product. I think they look really polished and not overly fake either which is always a plus point.

What do you think? Have you tried anything from the Primark Beauty range?

Much Love,

P.s. Thanks to the little sis' for letting me annoy her and take photos :)

  1. I keep seeing these nails recommended on blogs, and all you lovelies say the same about the glue, so perhaps I'll invest in some proper nail glue from Superdrug and get a couple of the sets of nails when I head out today; as there such a bargain for polished nails this Christmas season!! x

  4. These look great! 24 nails is quite good in a pack aswell as you can use them twice! & for £1 it would be rude not to pick them up!

False nails can be so expensive, I hate spending £8+ for a pack as i usually only wear them for one night anyway! The Nailene glue is some of the best ive used!

    Great review hun!

  6. Thank you so much girlies!

The price is so deceiving. I hat having to pay so much for false nails on the high street too and the fact you get at least two uses (making them 50p each) you really can't go too wrong with these little beauties :) I'll definitely be picking up some Nailene to make them last longer though.

  8. @looool - I assumed they'd be in all Primarks, I've not been in in a while, but they are part of their permanent stock. Maybe try going early in the morning all of the stock is replenished and easier to find.
