- Eyeko Skinny Liner in Emerald Green
- Orly Nail Lacquer in Ruby
- Weleda One Step Cleanser & Toner
- FAB Gentle Body Wash
- Murad Hybrids Skin Perfecting Primer in Dewy Finish
- GlossyBox Rock (Yum!)
Murad have made an appearance in previous boxes and before GlossyBox was a brand I had not come across. This primer is oil-free, so great for all of us with problem skin and adds a 'radiant glow' to the skin. It claims to minimise the appearance of pores, balance oil, match perfectly to skin tones and help to disguise flaws. Sounds promising, but will it match up to these claims? I'll definitely be doing a follow up post on this one, given that the MAC foundation I'm currently using gives quite a matte finish, it will be interesting to see the difference it produces. This is a teeny 5ml sample and the full sized 30ml retails for £29.00.
First Aid Beauty (FAB) are another brand which has popped up in previous boxes, but I have never received a sample of their products in mine. I walk past their display when I'm in Boots and their quirky packaging always draws me in. This body was is meant to be great for sensitive skin and especially those who are prone to reactions. This is a generous 56g sample and the full sized 226g product retails for £10.00.
I enjoyed the Weleda body oil from a few boxes back and am looking forward to giving this a go. It's all natural and hopefully will do the world of good for my skin and give it that pick-me-up it needs for these wintery days. It claims to cleanse and tone in one step, clarify and perfect and remove make-up for normal and combination skin. The 10ml sample and it's two-in-one nature, is perfect for travel (or it would be if it wasn't glass). The full sized 100ml retails for £9.95 and is sold in most health food shops and organic stores.
I love the packaging of this eyeliner. The fact that the end is tapered will be great when the liner is on its last legs and will mean that none of the product is wasted and ensure maximum precision for application. I'm not one for coloured eyeliners however, and would have loved to sample the black or powder pink, but nonetheless I will give it a go! This is a full sized product and retails for £9.50, and is also exclusively stocked in Harvey Nichols. It's a little on the expensive side for a kohl liner in my opinion though.
This month's GlossyBox has a great mix of products for that boost post-Christmas and for that added bit of oomph for Valentine's Day. I have a night of cocktails and dancing planned with my girlies for my first single Valentine's in 4 years! Can't wait. What are your Valentine's plans ladies?
Much Love,
Lauran
