What's on my iPhone?...

I saw this tag video on one of my recent YouTube catch-up sessions and thought it would transpire well into a blog post. I love seeing what apps people use on a day to day basis so here's what my iPhone 5 is loaded up with: ...

YourTea Tiny Tea Teatox

So here we are 7 days into my Tiny Tea Teatox and I've really enjoyed it! The first thing I noticed is how much my skin has cleared up. I genuinely didn't think that this was a benefit of the tea, considering it is essentially a 'weight loss' system ...

Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation: 100 Ivory...

Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation - £8.99
Look at the glow this gives!
I am, and always have been a great fan of Rimmel foundations, they're great quality at a great price and almost always deliver on their promises.

I picked up this on Tuesday, and out of the (naff) 6 shade range, I picked up 100 Ivory as it's the shade I always go for with Rimmel, with varying colour results. The formulation itself is a pretty thick, gel like consistency which blends out easily with a small amount going a pretty long way. One to two pumps is perfect for an even coverage across the face, if like me, you prefer a heavier coverage in certain areas, it is build-able without looking cakey.

The photos show the 'glow' that this foundation gives, for me there are a lot of shimmer particles in it, so I will be staying away from using it on nights out or where I know I will be getting photographed (avoiding the disco ball effect) but on days where you want to look fresh faced this is perfect! It highlights the skin in all of the right areas and gives that youthful, dewy glow to the skin. Yes, dewy, so all of you oily skin ladies may need to go cautiously with this, or team it with Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder (my favourite and most repurchased Rimmel product of all time) in the areas which are prone to getting oily throughout the day. I don't have many dry patches on my skin at the moment, so I can't really comment, but the formulation seems hydrating. The overall finish is pretty pore less and doesn't seem to sink into imperfections. I do use this with concealer and setting powder over my t-zone and blemishes, so this obviously helps with staying power, but I didn't feel the need to touch up.

This won't be replacing my favourite foundation of the moment, due to the fact I'm favouring full coverage, but it is a welcome addition to my foundation drawer and it will be used up, especially when the weather warms up!

The lovely Laura and Gemma have great reviews of this foundation too with photos of it on their skin so you can see how it looks :)

Have you tried out this foundation?
Much Love,
Lauran
