Bioderma H2O Sensibio Micelle Solution...

I'm sure you've all seen and read this product hyped up in the blogosphere. I've been using this product for a couple of months now, and to be honest it doesn't really live up to the hype for me. I've enjoyed using it to remove my make up, it's so gentle, scent free and does not leave a greasy residue on the skin. However, I sort of expected this to be a 'one swipe and all is removed' type of product and it just isn't. I found that it took a while to remove eye make up and didn't remove all traces of it from my lashes and undereyes. It is better than a lot of other make up removers I've used, in that there's no need to scrub at the eye area, it sort of melts away the make up instead. I feel myself using a lot more of this product than I would any other type of remover, and considering that in the UK this is pretty hard to get a hold of and costs approximately £15 shipped, I feel that I could probably find a better and more accessible replacement. I will be using this product up, as like I said, it does the job, I just don't think it's the 'Holy Grail' product it's been made out to be.

Have you guys tried the Bioderma Solution? What did you think about it? Is it worth the hype?

  1. I got a sample in one of the australian beauty boxes and really loved it. Its so hard to track down though. I completely agree that it isnt a miracle one swipe product but I havnt found another that leaves a really clean, gentle fresh feeling on my skin!

    1. I just hate that it's difficult to get hold of, being a French product :( I also haven't found a make up remover like this one that doesn't leave my skin feeling tight, but the fact I have to use a lot of product each time I use it really puts me off.
