What's on my iPhone?...

I saw this tag video on one of my recent YouTube catch-up sessions and thought it would transpire well into a blog post. I love seeing what apps people use on a day to day basis so here's what my iPhone 5 is loaded up with: ...

Event: #shhealthysmile at Everyman Cinema

At the beginning of the month, I was invited down to the Everyman Cinema in Leeds by the lovely team over at Simplyhealth to enjoy a good ol' giggle with my Sister...

YourTea Tiny Tea Teatox

So here we are 7 days into my Tiny Tea Teatox and I've really enjoyed it! The first thing I noticed is how much my skin has cleared up. I genuinely didn't think that this was a benefit of the tea, considering it is essentially a 'weight loss' system ...

Coral Ombre Nails

Not a perfect ombré, but these colours look so good together that I can forgive the fact that I don't have five perfectly gradiented coral tones in my nail polish collection ...

Best of British...

This is a sponsored post for

It's a proud time to be British, we're currently 3rd in the Olympic Medal tables and are showing the world just how much talent our little nation has. British fashion has a lot to boast about too, and iconic department store Harrods houses many of our designers under one roof, here are my two favourite;
Mulberry AW12 Collection
Mulberry - Established in 1971, there's just something about this iconic British brand that makes me stop at their window and wish I had everything. World renowned for their leather bags such as the Bayswater and Alexa, they will last you a lifetime and will never date. The shape of these dresses are gorgeous, the lace detailing and sweetheart bodice makes them figure flattering and girly.
I love this Heavy Studded Tassel Bag for the studding detailing, edging up a classic design and the matching Tassel Suede Lace Up Shoes. Both can be worn through Summer with a pretty floral sun dress, and through Autumn with layered chunky knits, and the gold detailing means they will see you through seasons to come. After all, the great British summer doesn't hang around for long!
Vivienne Westwood AW12 Collection
Vivienne Westwood - With her signature flashes of Tartan, Dame Viv shows the world the more eccentric side of British Fashion. Her designs reflect the rebellious punk rock movement encapsulated in romantic tailoring. I love the layered knit look in the first photo, and the blue tartan trousers transition the statement trouser trend to Autumn/Winter. Although not for the faint hearted, the windows are always styled to perfection and her iconic globe logo bags and jewellery, and 'Pirate' boots show that there's something for everyone.

What do you think? Which designer do you think epitomises British fashion?

Summer Sun...

The weather has been beautiful in Leeds the past few days and I've finally managed to break out some summer clothes! Here's what I've worn the past two days:
Shorts - Topshop
Top - Lipsy*
Belt - Primark
Ring - eBay
I've had so many compliments wearing these shorts! I absolutely love them, the fit is gorgeous; high-waisted but not too short, and the print combines florals and bright colours, what could be more summery? I paired it with this chiffon crop top from Lipsy, I like the contrast of the loose fit against the tailored shorts.
Top - Miss Selfridge
Skirt - River Island
Belt - Lipsy*
Watch - River Island
I usually wear this top with my Disco Pants; It's sheer, dipped hem, with a flock Aztec print. I paired it with this dipped hem wrap skirt from River Island and I love the way they look together. The skirt tends to part a bit too much when walking, meaning I felt like I was forever trying to keep a hold of my dignity, but I still really like it!

What do you think? Hope you're enjoying the weather!

Topshop Lips: Infrared...

I've been meaning to pick up MAC Morange for such a long time now, and I must have ranted about it so much as my sister bought me this fantastic dupe for my Birthday; Topshop Lips in Infrared.
Its a gorgeous bright red-orange colour which can be used lightly for a hint of colour or built up to its full impact for a big hit of colour. The formulation is actually lovely, not drying and nice and glossy on the lips. I put it on over some vaseline to ensure it did not cling to any dry patches on my lips (yuck!). I much prefer the 'Lips' range to the 'Lip Stick' range from Topshop, the colour range is huge in comparison and the formula is so much better. For just £8, these are a fantastic alternative to MAC Lipsticks at £13.50 a pop.

What do you think?

Rose Gold...

I am in love with Rose Gold at the moment, I think it looks so much better on my skin tone than Gold and it's so much prettier to look at than Silver. I think the high street really needs to whack out some more Rose Gold accessories, especially for the summer and more clothing and bag with detailing, Rose Gold spikes and studs anyone?!
Mulberry + Rose Gold = Died and gone to heaven! If I had the funds I would definitely run to the Victoria Quarter and buy this in an instant. I wore Orly's Rage for my Graduation and it's a sort of metallic Rose colour which looks lovely against a tan. Ahh, the Michael Kors watch I have been lusting after for years, I recently bought a really good dupe of this from River Island for a purse friendly £25, so good a match is it, my manager had to have me take it off to compare it to hers!

Much Love,
