2014 Beauty, Blogging and Life Resolutions...

As I'm sat here getting flashbacks from last nights antics I'm thinking about the New Year and, although I don't tend to stick to the 'new year, new me' mantra I do like to make a few resolutions to ensure the next year is as amazing as the last. Here are a few of my 2014 Resolutions...

001. Live Healthier
Beauty starts from within, we all know this. What goes on inside shows on the outside and whilst I have never been an 'unhealthy' person and I do believe that in moderation, you can eat and do anything you want to, my body isn't where I want it to be and after a lot of research I'm going to adopt a healthier lifestyle following Paleo. I think sticking to the 'if you can't kill it or pick it, you shouldn't be eating it' is a no brainer and obviously upping the exercise and actually using that gym membership that has been sneaking it's way out of my account every month.

002. Be More Organised
I am such an unorganised person, I'm messy, never plan and always forget things. This year I want to change this. I need to reorganise my makeup (and pretty much my whole life), overhaul my wardrobe and put more into my Blog. I also need to reconnect with friends who have flown the nest and spend more time with my family.

003. Try New Things
Starting to be a bit more adventurous with my makeup and going out of my comfort zone with my style. I'm still only 22 after all, there's so much I need to do; Travel the world, discover whether I am actually an adrenaline junkie (or just someone who thinks jumping out of a plane would be fun), decide if i ACTUALLY like Sushi?!

004. Be More Active in the Blogging Community
Reading more blogs, commenting on posts, sharing the links of bloggers and posts that I have enjoyed and revisit. The YouTube Vloggers have got this down and I think us Bloggers can learn a lot from their constant interaction with one another and sharing each others content. After all, we write for others to read why not point readers to things that you love?

005. Document More
Take more photos, print more photos and write more memories down. I want to be able to physically show people the things I've done rather than point them to a website or show them photos on my phone. I love the thought of a memory jar that I can come back to this point next year and relive the things I've done and achieved.

So there's my little resolutions for the New Year. I have so much planned to do this year I can't wait to grab it all and make amazing memories with my friends and family. 2014 is the year of bettering myself. Hooray!

Much Love,
Lauran
