American Apparel Nail Polish in Supernova...

I think I've been obsessed with Deborah Lippman's famous In The Air polish since I started blogging 3 years ago. The blue hue paired with glitter just looks so beautiful. This is what I've tried to recreate in my mani today, albeit with a much brighter blue hue in the form of Barry M's Pure Turquoise.

Probably a little too summery on its own for this time of year, but paired with this gorgeous glitter from American Apparel, it transitions to winter perfectly.

With all of this talk of snow and a 'Polar Vortex' blue and glitter seems highly relevant and plus, looks beautiful on my nails. The formula of Supernova is not too dissimilar to its OPI counterpart, the glitter isn't as densily packed into its clear coat but this aids application as it doesn't seem to clump together. It gives an even yet random scattering of all of the different types of glitter.
I don't think I'm ever going to tire of this type of polish and I'm really impressed by American Apparel nail polish, I wouldn't have ever thought of trying their offerings but will definitely be giving some more of them a go.

Much Love,
